About Us

Tower Farm Saddlers was founded in 1970 by Henry and Prue Welton in order to meet the needs of their riding school customers. Over the years they have developed relationships with all the major equestrian suppliers and have strong links with many riding organisations.

Henry and Prue Welton have always had a strong work ethic – they even used to open on Christmas day!  They firmly believe that the customer comes first, and that friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff are essential to business success. Experience gained over the years means that they sell what their customers want and always try to be competitively priced. This attitude has worked for over fifty years and will no doubt be the key to success for the next fifty. Tower Farm Saddlers has built up a huge loyal customer base, which is a credit to the priority that it always puts on service.

After more than 50 years of trading, Tower Farm Saddlers is still up there with the best of them having won Equestrian Retailer of the Year for the second time at the 2013 BETA Business Awards.  The awards recognise outstanding performance and contributions from those involved in all sectors of the equestrian trade.

Both our Rugby and Earls Barton Stores specialise in selling all things equestrian as well as many other products besides. We run a very popular Loyalty Scheme where customers save as they spend. With regular offers, knowledgeable staff and everything in store for horse and rider, both shops are always worth a visit – open 7 days a week.

We pride ourselves on providing excellent service to our customers. Tower Farm Saddlers has been BETA Equestrian Retailer of the Year in 2015, 2013, 2007 and a finalist in 12,11,10,09 and 08!

As well as this we are proud to announce that over recent years some our knowledgeable employees have won Employee of the Year in British Equestrian Trade Association’s awards equivalent of the equestrian industries Oscars. Rachel Austin won in 2015, Jean Costello was successful 2010, Sarah Blackmore won the in 2009 and Tessa Groocock  won in 2008. We have also been finalists in 13,12 and 11!
